We do not collect tithes. We see ourselves as complimentary to your Sunday church, not competition. We take seriously the sin of schism (Galatians 5:20), we ourselves are submitted to the elders at Refuge City Ministries, and affirm all believers should be submitted somewhere to biblically qualified elders. Not contributing to the body is a serious sin. Saul serves as overseer of this Sabbath gathering alongside his wife Brianna.
Saul is currently a student at IOCS in Cambridge, where he is pursuing a diploma in Orthodox Christian studies. Saul is a husband, father of 4 children, and is not self appointed. He was appointed a teacher by a previous Messianic congregation where he served as a teacher for 2 years.
He also holds multiple academic credentials including:
This Sabbath bible study was started out of necessity. For too long we've seen people weaponize the Biblical Calendar & Dietary laws when the Apostles already settled in Acts 15 that we aren't saved by the Law. For too long we've seen families leave valid Sunday churches and schism the body of Christ over the Torah without first having a congregation of biblically qualified elders to transition to. For too long we've seen believers isolate, replace gathering with YouTube, and stop contributing to the body. Or worse, submit themselves to unaccountable, single-leader structures who keep the Biblical Calendar but don't uphold the Apostolic Church structure, don't disciple, don't appoint successors, and don't enforce what the church has already agreed upon universally... resulting in strange echo chambers completely removed from church history.
Our mission is to eliminate false binaries. You can partake of the Eucharist on the first day of the week and celebrate the Biblical Passover on the 14th of Nisan/Aviv. You can remember the Sabbath and celebrate the Resurrection on the Lord’s Day every week. Welcome back to the 1st Century.
We gladly welcome any feedback or concerns to go directly to our elders at Refuge City Ministries: https://refugecitymin.org/connect-card

While there may be many doctrinal differences among us, we believe these to be the irreducible minimum areas of agreement.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit - as exemplified by the personal and corporate manifestations of HIS Gifts
Lifestyle of Evangelism and Missions - Personal and corporate involvement in local, national, and international ministry.
Historical Christian Orthodoxy - While differences will undoubtedly exist among us, unrepentant illegality, immorality, or heresy will not be accepted. We affirm the theological—not political—conclusions of the earliest ecumenical councils since these councils form the universally recognized doctrinal core of the early Church and are universally affirmed by nearly all Christian denominations:
1. The Apostolic Council of Jerusalem (Acts 15) • We reject circumcision or the Law of Moses as a means of salvation. • We affirm salvation by grace through faith, for Jew and Gentile alike. • We affirm abstaining from idolatry, sexual immorality, blood, and what has been strangled as baseline fellowship requirements during the Holy gatherings (Acts 15:28-29).
2. Nicaea I (325) • We reject Arianism and all claims that the Son is a created being. • We affirm that Yeshua/Jesus is fully God, eternally begotten of the Father, of one essence (homoousios) with Him.
3. Constantinople I (381) • We affirm the full divinity and personhood of the Holy Spirit. • We affirm the completed Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed as the Church’s Trinitarian standard.
4. Ephesus (431) • We affirm that Yeshua/Jesus is one person, not divided into two subjects. • We reject Nestorianism • We affirm the term Theotokos as Mary truly is the mother of God incarnate.
We see all congregations who are in agreement and governed by biblically qualified male elders as valid. We do not require anyone to leave their Sunday church in order to fellowship with us on Sabbath. Followers of Jesus whether Jew or Gentile that agree and are respectfully curious are invited to visit.
